OH how I know what it's like to have an idea that keeps tapping you on the shoulder!

My story with business actually started long before I opened one of my own. Early in my career, I managed a photography studio and helped grow it from a five-figure business into a half-million-dollar studio within just a few years.

That's where I learned that I didn't just love the creative side of business. I loved figuring out what made a business work. Later, I took everything I had learned and built my own photography business from scratch, eventually growing it into a six-figure studio. Along the way, I wore pretty much every hat there was to wear: photographer, marketer, brand builder, website updater, social media manager, customer experience department and the occasional "I have absolutely no idea what I'm doing, but I'll figure it out" department.

Eventually, the business I had worked so hard to build stopped feeling like that was where I was supposed to be. My life had changed. My interests had changed. I changed. And I found myself at the beginning again. Instead of seeing that as starting over, I've learned to see it as building from experience. So, I take everything I have learned about creativity, branding, marketing and growing a business and use it to help other women bring their own ideas to life.

Especially the woman who has something tugging at her but isn't quite sure what to do with it yet. But I also do love helping the ones out who are in the thick of building their dreams, they just need a little help with getting it out there to the people who are meant to fall in love with their products and/or services. This is where my over-productive, never stopping, creative mind acts like a first grader at recess. I. LOVE. IT. ALL!

Maybe you want to start a business. Maybe you've already started one, but your branding feels all over the place. Maybe creating content makes you want to close your laptop and head straight to the coffee shop (my personal go to). Maybe you have seventeen ideas and absolutely no idea which one you're supposed to follow.

Then you're my kind of person.

Around here, we'll talk about branding, marketing, Canva, content, photos, websites, creativity and the practical pieces that help turn an idea into something real. But we'll also talk about the part that doesn't fit neatly into a marketing plan: trusting yourself enough to begin.

Because I don't believe you need to have everything figured out before you start. Sometimes you just need someone to help you see what you already have, figure out your next step and remind you that the idea you keep coming back to might be worth paying attention to.

So grab a cozy drink, (clearly my preference is coffee) and stay awhile. We're figuring out what's possible from here.
