This program will be held at the Cedar Circle, 4506 Chadwick Rd, Cedar Falls Iowa meeting once a week starting Tuesday, December 3rd from 5:30-7 and every Tuesday there after for 10 weeks. This program uses creativity and engaging activities to boost kids’ confidence and self image and is for groups of kids ages 9-17.
Description
This workshop will be held at Cedar Circle 4506 Chadwick Rd, Cedar Falls, Iowa. Examples of weekly workshops:
1. “Selfie Esteem” – Snapshots of Inner Strength
- Exploring personal strengths and celebrating individuality through creative self-expression activities.
2. “Variety Show” – Strutting Your Stuff
- Engaging in exercises that build self-confidence and encourages kids to proudly showcase their talents and interests.
3. “Lead Like a Boss” – Rule Your World
- Developing essential leadership skills through interactive group challenges and leadership role-play scenarios.
4. “Kindness is My Superpower” – The Ripple Effect
- Cultivating empathy and kindness with activities designed to encourage positive interactions and understanding the impact of kind actions.
5. “Trust Quest” – The Inner Compass
- Encouraging self-trust through decision-making exercises and discussions about intuition and inner wisdom.
6. “Grit and Grace” – The Resilience Remix
- Teaching resilience by engaging in activities that challenge and inspire kids to overcome obstacles and adapt to change.
7. “Fearless & Unstoppable” – The Courage Club
- Fostering a sense of bravery and self-acceptance with sessions focused on overcoming fears and embracing individuality.
8. “Friendship Fiesta” – Celebrating Connections
- Strengthening social skills and the understanding of healthy friendships through interactive discussions and role-playing.
9. “Dream Builders” – Blueprinting the Future
- Encouraging goal setting and future planning with vision board creation and goal-mapping exercises.
10. “Glow-up Graduation” – Reflect, Rejoice, Relaunch
- Celebrating the journey with a session dedicated to reflection, sharing achievements, and setting future aspirations.
